Depending on the damage to the transmission will determine the price. To have it rebuilt the low end will be about $800 and go up again based on serverity of damge.

I have Palio which is 3 yrs old.. my clutch is not working suddenly .. what should be the problem ? how much will be the cost of repair ?

Dear Sir,
As you said your clutch is not working , their two types of problem with clutch . one is when you press the clutch and shift the gear if gear shifting is proper but car not moving forward then it is problem with clutch plate assay, and if gear shifting is hard and not able to shift gear then it can be pressure plate or clutch fluid line . if 1st option is same for your problem then it will cost 100to 150$ or it is 2nd option then it will cost 50to 60$. if any issue please let me know thanks.

My clutch went right to the floor a couple days ago in my '94 Isuzu Rodeo. Now, I am having a hard time getting into reverse and shifting, but I am not having any issues with RPMs or anything like that. Is...

If you can get the transmission down you can replace the clutch assembly on your own. I assume you have original clutch installed in the vehicle. This sounds like a clutch problem and if you have a Hydraulic Clutch assembly it could just need service. You could get a Haynes Repair manual on the vehicle from Auto Zone or most major Auto Repair stores and that would give you the steps involved in doing the repair. Other than getting the Transmission down it's not really that difficult of a job.

This is Indicative of A Clutch RELEASE BEARING FAILURE and Requires A Complete Clutch Replacment, As the Transmission Must Be Removed and With ALL the Labor Cost Involved It IS WISE to Replace ALL PARTS Related to the CLUTCH ASSEMBLY, The Disc Is SURELY Sacherated With FLUID Rendering it UNUSABLE. This IS a 99.9% SURE Answer and Solution to your Problem, I Couldnt Catch you Initialy But I Enjoy Helping So $ is No Factor for Me Unless YOU DEEM Nessesary.

Sudden clutch failure

Sounds like you have a leak .... a bad master/ slave cylinder .... that car has a hydraulic clutch system you may see oil dripping, much cheaper than a new clutch ... pumping it may help shift until it empties out entirely ... check the reservoir ...

When i put into gear and press on the gas and the clutch out the engin revs but the car goes no where. I HAVE SIMMILAR PROBLEM. CLUTCH PEDAL IS VERY HARD ENGINE RUNNING, CAN SHIFT BETWEEN GEARS WITH...

WITH ENGINE ON & RUNNING and you are able to shift to any & or all Gears and with this theres,
No Clutch Engagement Upon Releasing Clutch
With Info Provided seems that you have 1 or all 3
of the Fallowing and they all Should be Replaced as A Set even if on lt 1 of them has Failed
  1. Clutch Pressure Plate has Failed
  2. Clutch Disc Is Worn Down
  3. Clutch Release Bearing Has Failed
All Require Removal Of Transmission this is the reasoning for Replacing all as SET with the Labor cost if your replace only 1 Item, and 3 Months later another of the 3 components Fail, you have the same Labor cost to PAY.

This Solution is Answering the SOLE Question ask, Barring No other Problems have or did Happen such as Noises Ran out Of Trans Lube. if it is the Clutch that has Failed and you are unable to Perform the Repair yyourself, DO SHOP AROUND get 5 or more Estimates as the Fee Will Vary Sometimes very wide gaps in fee's
and also Try and Purchase the Parts yourself Due to the Tremendous Markup of parts at Shops

I Hope I have Answered you Question to your satisfaction and if you have any more questions Feel free to Ask Me

1996 MX-6 V6 5 Speed: Clutch suddenly goes to the floor but....

It sounds like a fault with the clutch master cylinder or possibly the slave cylinder at the gearbox. With the age of the vehicle and the cost of the parts I'd recommend replacing both. This may not be something you want to tackle yourself, groveling around under the dash removing bolts for the master cylinder is not much fun, and clutch systems can be difficult to bleed up when they get air in them. I'd recommend taking it to a brake specialist (they do clutch work as well) and getting an estimate on costs before going ahead. Get a few estimates from a few garages to ensure that you are getting a good deal.

Hope this helps.
