I have a 2004 model - sounds like the exhaust is vibrating at the manifold? I have also noticed a piee of rubber about 6 inches long sticking out of the rear suspension bars.

95 camry, 4 cyl auto, 65000 miles, well maintained, runs perfect below 2000 rpm. when it reaches 2000 its as if it shuts off instantly and then will rev back up to 2000 it doesnt matter if you try to sneak...

The vibrating sound is probably your heat shield on your exhaust,as you rev the engine the vibration is amplified and may be tripping your knock sensor, try removing the heat shield and see what happens.

Airconditioner leaking on drivers side

it may not be leaking it may be that the rubber hose that allows the heater case to drain is plugged up it is usually near the passenger side exhaust manifold and looks like a small rubber hose with a bend in it coming out f the fire wall and not connected to anything on the end sticking out.

Where are the co2 sensors located on a 2004 chevrolet trailblazer 6 cylinder?

O2 sensors are located just before the catalytic converter on the exhaust pipe coming down from the exhaust manifold. You will have two pipes that will merge with catalytic converter exhaust pipe. They will be sticking out from these pipes. You will need a o2 sensor removal tool if there is no room for an open end wrench. This tool is not expensive and looks like a deep well socket with a slot running length wise. Under $10.00. Make sure there is plenty of anti seize on the threads. so next time they will be easy to remove.

How to repair exhaust leak on 6 cylinder 2004 GMC Envoy XUV

Depends on where the leak is. There is a known problem with exhaust manifolds cracking on these trucks. If that is the case, the manifold needs to be replaced. It is also possible that the manifold bolts have come loose.

Slight vibration feeling

is it a buzzing type sound? That can happen both the driver and passengerside. there is a white clip that locks the dash to the firewall. you need to get at it as stick a piece of felt to stop the vibration. but it is very tough to reach..

96' toyota corolla Exhaust Manifold Keeps Cracking

Sounds weird that this problem keep occurring over and over. Does it crack in the same spot every time?

Only two things I can think of that would cause this problem.
1. Extensive over heating, I've seen a exhaust manifold get glowing red hot because of a bad oxygen sensor.

2. Excessive Vibration. The whole exhaust line to the back of the car is moving around too much or too stiff. The exhaust line needs to move around enough to take the movement/vibration of the engine. I would check out for bad motor mounts and worn out exhaust pipe mounts.

The car vibrates when it idles. It vibrates so

sounds like it has a bad motor mount, once the rubber wears out, it is metal to metal and there is nothing to coushin the vibrations from the engine.

1995 cherokee 2.5 td 150k miles will not start.

The oil pressure dropping to zero is common for cherokees. Replace the oil pressure sending unit and it will be good as new. Cracked exhaust manifolds are also common. Usually it will crack where the 2 pipes are welded into 1 pipe before it connects to the front pipe. There are lots of replacement headers out there to choose from. I just ordered one through quadratec.

Vibration

sounds like you have a loose or dry rotted exhaust hanger, i know it sounds crazy, but it could be the exhaust rattling you hear.

go to the tail pipe of the truck, and with your foot push on the tail pipe, if you have more than 1 inch of movment this is your problem.
