There is no technical spec for this, any good mechanic will just tell you to seat them about 15 flbs plus a 1/4 turn. just use an alternating pattern to insure that they are torqurd the same.

What are the torque specs of a 2000 Buick Lesabre front and rear valve cover gaskets?

Valve covers usually don't have a torque spec. Just snug the bolts up and then give it about a quarter turn.

How do you Replace Head Gasket for 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE ?

Big difference between valve cover gasket and head gasket. To replace head gasket, you must dissamble top end of engine and send the head out to be resurfaced and then install new head gasket. If it is a leaking valve cover it is much easier. Simply dissasemble and then clean valve cover and top of head from all debris and remove all old gasket material. Tighten back down in sequence and do not over tighten. these small bolts can be overtightened easily so go in sequence just like when you tighten lug nuts by skipping one as you go around. 10mm bolts require about 10 pounds or less torque.

Would like a video or instructions on how to replace the spark plug tube seals, and the valve cover gasket

try a youtube search, that is all I can do.

you do it.

and if you want all this is covered in the FSM buy one.

or login to alldata.com

buy a felpro seal kit (not off ebay clone stuff, get quality parts)

remove cover, put in seals. and gaskets.

put back, do NOT over-torque these small screws. use a torque wrench.

some are like 89 inch pounds, very tiny torque.

just about any video of any rice burner will work .

toyota\'s will be your largest hit, not isuzu , ever.

you didnt post year.

nor engine options. there are like 13 engines, uses. here.

so answers will be GENERIC, due to that fact.

make sure the 3 rings inside the cover are replaced, then reinstall.

Valve cover gaskets

Valve cover gaskets are a snap, even for a real dummy.  Get a set, don't fall for the "BEST IN THE MARKET".  All you need is a cheap set of something, that will seal the covers.  Get a small tube or bottle of NON-HARDENING sealer.  Clean both surfaces , put some sealer on the engine, and the valve cover, put the gasket in place and tighten it down to a few foot pounds of torque.  It doesn't need to be cranked down tight enough to hold back an elephant, just enough to squeeze the gasket.  Let it dry overnight before you start the engine.
