Where is the fuel relay on a 1998 Hyundai Elantra Wagon located

I have had four fuel pumps put on may car and have taken it to several different mechanics. For some reason it is not getting gas the way that it should. Sometimes it will run with no problem and then other times I may get stuck at the grocery store for a couple of hours or I will have to leave it sit for atleast a day or two. I have ahd the fuel filter changed also. My dad told me to go get a fuel pump relay and no one at auto zone (or in those special books they have) can figure out where peice is so that it can be changed. Please help me out if you can I have spent thousands of dollars on trying to figure out what is wrong with it. I love this car and will hate to give it up but, if I can not figure it out soon I will have no choice. Thank you for your time and help...98 Elantra.

Under the driver side dash is the ECM, just above it should be a small cluster of relays. i forget which one is fuel pump, but if you plunk them out one at a time and listen for fuel pump whirring when you put key in the on position you can isolate which one it is.
also, are we totally sure this is a fuel problem?...

Locate fuel filter, and safety switch to fuel pump

The filter is located at the rear seat, you have to remove it first, then you will see a cap attach with some screws. Inside that cap you`ll find the fuel filter. Before you change the fuel filter you have to release the fuel pressure first. To do that, first find the FUEL PUMP RELAY in the main fuse box located in the engine. Once you located open the fuel door and take off the cap and leave it open. Start the engine, take off the FUEL PUMP RELAY and leave the engine stop itself, when this occurs turn off the key, the you can take off the filter and changed it

1998 hynudai elantra won't start. Need Help.

well it could be as simple as just replacing the fuel pump relay. it's located in the junction box under the hood. if the relay is good then check the fuel cutoff switch. that is located behinfd the fabric in the trunk along the wheel wells. if this was not triggered then it could be that you might have a glitch in the ecm water is not kind to computers especially cars that have the ecm's in the engine compartments
