1) Check throttle cable/linkage for smooth operation. 2) The PCM may have failed. See dealer/mechanic. 3) Vacuum leak(s) at manifold or vac. lines.

(I had a fast idle and surging cruise all of a sudden. The diaphragm of the EGR valve started leaking.)

Ac fan quits on acceleration

It sounds to me like either the vacuum resevour or the vacuum hose that provides vacuum to the inside of the car has a leak. Suggest to your repair shop to look for this as the problem. Good luck. Hope this is helpful.

I have a 2002 Ford F-150 that clicks

Check your universal joints on your drive shaft front and rear. Does the truck make a funny niose in reverse? Sure sign of bad universal joins being bad. Does the noise go away when you let off the accelerator? The best way to check them is with the trans in neutral and the parking brake set and wheels chocked. You may see a lot of rust around them and play. Hope this helps!
