Wobble when I drive my car had drive shafts replaced

I have a 2004 volkswagon passat front wheel drive. My cv boots were torn and I had them replaced, I had no wobbling in my front end until the drive shafts were replaced. Now the machanics cannot figure out why my car now has a wobbling problem. Can you help me out with a solution?

Make sure the new axles match up to exact length of old ones. sometimes aftermarket or rebuild cv axles are slightly shorter also possible the new axles are for a different model passat, thus when tightening the new axle in place it slips out.

Check to see if your CV boot is torn. Usually it is the outer boot towards the wheel, there are a total of 2 boots per side 4 total for the car.

Ford fusion front end noise when doing tight three point turn or manovers

popping noise when turning is usually caused by worn CV joints. Inspect CV boots for tears. Torn boot will allow dust to get in and cause wear. If boot is torn, replace CV joint or entire shaft (usually easier). If boot is not torn, grab shaft next to each CV joint and see how much movement you can cause in the joint. If one CV moves more than the other three, that one is probably bad.

Half shaft replacement....

There's no need to replace the entire shaft, inspect th CV joint, make sure it's still well greased and replace the torn boot, they make a quick replace boot, they are easy to install and alot cheaper.

CV joints clicking, how long to total failure and any additional damage?

Since the CV -joints are now clicking and clunking it has to be replaced, by just replacing the boots only won't stop it from clicking and clunking.
For front wheel drive vehicles its always better to inspect the CV joint boots more often and as soon as you find it torn thn before the joint is damaged by foreign particals entering it you should change them.

Front wheel on 92 ford tempo gl

Your hub assembly is worn out. Your hub assy. is another word for wheel bearing. Check your CV axle condition while you have it up in the air. If your outer boot is torn, replace the axle as well. Don't bother with replacing the boot, the bearings inside are still damaged.
