Question about 1997 Buick Skylark
I was driving down road stop at a stoplight and started to take back off and the car quit what do i need to check the fuel filter is clean i turn the key on when the fuel fileter off and no fuel comes out the line please help
I have a 1997 Skylark that did the same thing. It turned out to be the coil pack. It's very simple to replace yourself but just be careful when you disassemble. There are some small springs that may jump out when you remove the screws holding the coil pack. Also, I'd suggest that you replace the boots and porcelin insulators while you're doing this. Just to make sure that this is truely the problem, you could buy the whole assembly at a salvage yard for around $25 bucks and if it solves the problem, then either run the used one until if fails and then replace it with new parts.
