Question about 2004 Volkswagen Golf
Hi there! I own a 2004 seat leon fr150.
The engine management light in the dash came on and when i took it to a local garrage they told me the fault was for the engine glow plug control system and it would be best fit new parts to repair the fault. At this stage i got stuck in myself! The glow plug light on the dash comes on and of as normal, and when i disconect the engine coolant tempture sensor the light stays on longer. I have tested the 12v positive supply coming to the glow plugs at the engine and there is no current when the light in the dash is on. I believe there is a relay and a control unit in this system, I have tested what i think is the correct relay but cannot be sure as information is scarce at present. can anyone please help me find information on this system or a suitable wiring digram.

Above the Relay Panel is the Auxiliary Relay Panel. Has thirteen positions in it.
6 across the top, 7 across the bottom.
Across the bottom the Glow Plug Relay is the fourth one over from the left. It is Number 10.
