The blower motor only working on High is a sure sign the blower motor resistor pack is defective. Replace it. A/C compressor clutch no engaging may be nothing more than a blown fuse or loose wire. Make sure the A/C is set to cold.

Ac in my 95 s10 works, but sometimes it doesn't. I have to wait a few minutes and it will come on. I changed the resistor already.

Check the plug on the blower motor. Should only be one wire and a groind. Leave it runnin and jiggle the wire on the blower motor. Coild have a short. Also the ac compressor coild be goin out. Turn the ac on and watch the compressor and see if the clutch on the outside is spinning

Keeps blowing fuse

Most likely the clutch on your ac compressor has stopped working or the entire compressor has seized. The blower will still work, but without the clutch working correctly int won't cool like it should. While possible to replace just the clutch on a compressor, it's generally better to replace the entire assembly.

The a/c on my 2010 Mercury Milan quits blowing after about 2 hours of driving. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like the A/C clutch is no good and out of adjustment.You should goto your nerrest junkyard and get a used assembly take the clutch off then you learn how it comes off and install it on yours the save the pump for later use if needed. The clutch should only have a .010 air gap after install between th inner elctro magnet and the clutch plate it's self.

My 2004 jaguar x-type ac is not working. the temp gauge inside shows that the ac is on, but nothing is blowing out of the vents. Please advise

check freon level first. You should hear the compressor clutch kick on under the hood when you turn it on. Can you hear and see it come on and start spinning the compressor?

The AC relay fuse keeps blowing

It is most likely the ac clutch,or the blower motor causing the problem,when it is working,feel of the blower motor to see if it is hot,to touch,if it is,this is the problem,if it is not,the ac clutch will be the problem.

2003 ford explorer ac compressor does not come on. fuse is good, blower works also,

It is probably either a bad compressor clutch or the system has lost its fluid and the low pressure switch is keeping it from coming on. If you track the AC lines on one of them you will see a sensor with a plug connected to it. Start the car turn the AC to max, blower also. Then unplug the connector on the pressure switch and jump the wires in the connector. Use a flat head screwdriver if the connector has exposed pins or a paperclip if the pins are inside little tubes. If you do this and the compressor kicks on then you have lost your refrigerant and have to bring it to be leak tested. If it doesn't come on then it is probably the AC compressor clutch.

Ac compressor not switching on 1986 Peugeot 505.GTI How can I test clutch wiring,. Have just aquired this car , heater blowers etc. working but ac clutch not cutting in, is there a switch I have not found....

The best thing to do first is to check the AC clutch itself if it's working, locate the air - con compressor and you will see a wire coming out from the front top of the AC-compressor, it has a connection, remove tht connection and take a piece of wire, connect it to the wire frm the AC-compressor and the other end of the wire to the battery positive terminal,by doing so you will hear a clicking sound of the clutch at the AC-compressor, better still is to start the car's engine, switch 'ON' the AC as normal, let the blower blow thn connect tht wire frm the AC-compressor to the positive side of the battery terminal and check it out if the AC-compressor rotates and also you may get in the car and see if its blowing cold air.
Please also check this -->
HEAT/COLD selector (on the dash) is not selected at HEAT...if it is thn the AC-compresor clutch will not kick in!
Hope this helps!

could be AC compressor clutch shorting out.try disconnecting AC compressor electrical connector and see if fuse still blows.
