Brake warning light comes on while driving and stays on I have check the brake fluid was down a little bit so i add some. light went off and came back on again do u think i have a leak if so were or...

Try to add again and see if it happens the same. If so, check the wheels to see if there is any leak. Also check on the place you parked over the night. Identify the leak and take action. Function of leak place you may ask for help in fixing it. Another problem to the old cars: they have some sensors in the brake pads. When the pads get thin the brake ligt is on. Chech that too if there is no leak.

I start the car and the abs light goes off, then driving along the brake light and abs light comes on for no reason.

Possible faults:

Different tire rotational speed wheel to wheel.

Broken wire loom to wheel sensor.

ABS Tone ring missing teeth, broken.

Bad ABS wheel sensor.

Dirty Tone ring...... brake dust and rotor dust.

There is always a reason for warning lamps to illuminate.

Brake pads warning light 2002 tdi sport

Yes the wires may be "vibrating" when the car is driven so it trips the brake sensor.

This happens to my 07 Passat with the check engine light

92 Nissan Pathfinder brake lights stuck on

Change the brake light switch on the brake pedal arm. Go down to the parts store and ask for a new brake liight switch for your Pathfinder and look up under the dash where the brake pedal arm goes and you will see the switch. You will need to unplug the wires to your old one and disconnect it and install the new one the same way. It is pretty much self adjusting once the brake pedal is released. If the brake light does not go out adjust the switch pin to be longer so it will depress when the pedal is released
