It hesitates at acceleration as well as a rough idle some times and then it thru a fuel system rich code.

You could try cleaning the air flow meter with some spray on electrical contact cleaner. Dont rub it with a cloth thow as this a very fragile part. it is located after the air filter but before the engine.

Check coolant temp sensor. it controls fuel mixture.

Rough idle, misses ,,Engine hesitates,poor acceleration


typically these problems are caused by either fuel problems or spark problems. I would pull the sparkplugs to see if the engine is running lean or rich. Normally the spark plugs should have a nice tan color to them. If they are wet or black engine is running rich. Easier still depending on the year of your Blazer, is to have the computer scanned for codes. Usually this will tell you exactly what is wrong.

Rough low idle and black smoke


Bad carb or fuel injection issues- the system is fuel rich (black smoke) and also fuel rich system can make the idle low. Many things can cause this but thses are just a few.

I have a hesitation problem when I first apply


Throttle Position Sensor possibility,find someone with a scanner and check for codes.Located on the your throttle body.Oppasite side of the accelerator cables is a shaft that goes thru your throttle body and connects to the TPS.Rough idle but evens out when you increase engine RPMs.

2005 Jeep wrangler w/rough idle and hesitates when you accelerate


try fuel injectors....run a bottle or two with full tank through it and see if that dont solve the problemo.....
