Remove tire, two bolts 14mm i believe 1 on top 1on bottom use c clamp tp compress pads remove lower slide bolt calipers will slide up check hardware grease shims contact points push caliper down install lower bolt pump brakes several times and go where do u live ill do it

2001 brake pad replacement 2001 nissan quest


The hard part is pressing the caliper piston abck into the caliper so you can get the new, thicker pads over the rotor. A large C Clamp works best.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Pads —Front Disc Brake Removal
  1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. For additional information, refer to Section 204-04 .
  1. Remove the front disc brake caliper bolts. torx bit. T20?
  1. Support the front disc brake caliper from the front strut and spring assembly using mechanics wire.
  1. Remove the front disc brake pads.
    1. Remove the outboard front disc brake pad.
    1. Remove the inboard front disc brake pad.
Installation
  1. s1v~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: Make sure the master cylinder reservoir does not overfill and spill brake fluid while retracting the front disc brake caliper piston.
    NOTE: It is necessary to fully retract the front disc brake caliper piston in the bore before installing the front disc brake pads.
    Install the front disc brake pads.
    1. Install the inboard front disc brake pad.
    1. Install the outboard front disc brake pad.
Caution. The outer pads are left and right. put left on driver side.
  1. Position the front disc brake caliper on the front-wheel knuckle and install the brake caliper pin bolts.
  1. s1v~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif WARNING: It is necessary to depress the brake pedal several times to position the front disc brake caliper piston before driving the vehicle.

I have a 94 Nissan Alitma that won't stay running??


check the fresh intake hoses for clogs, air filter. it may not be getting any air. egr valve check all vacuum lines and valves(pcv). it could be maf sensor also. let me know how the intake lines check out. are you sure they ran the codes right?

Air bag light blinking


get this checked out asap. This indicates the air bag system has a problem, and may not deploy in the event of an accident. Did you just purchase the car w/ this problem, or have u had it a while? I ask, because if u purchased it w/ the blinking light, it could indicate the car was in an accident, the air bag deployed, and it wasn't replaced when repairs were made. That's the worse case scenario, get it checked, hopefully it's something not that serious. Let me know how u make out Curt
