Question about 1998 Audi A4
I am replacing my speedometer in a 1998 Audi A4 Avant 1.8 Auto. I can not get the car to start with the replacement item fitted the immobiliser light flashes and it will not start up. I assume it needs coding is there a way of doing this without taking it to a dealer i.e holding down buttons etc. Many Thanks
Not unless you have an audi scanner,Dealer has to also program vin, mileage, and immobilizer.
