I keep getting a message CD error when I insert a CD into the player. Can I easily fix this myself?

Not enough info. Factory unit? Stacker? Many stackers have one CD on top of another. Just take it apart and take the extra CD out.

We have recently purchased a 1993 Toyota Camry Ultima and we can't get the CD stacker to work. One of the wires has melted. An orange one with a plastic base. Any suggestions as to where we can ge

burnt wires mean excessive current or dead short. your unit is not fuse protected so I would say that a new unit may be the cheaper option

Y car is a 2000, vw beetle it says cd but I dont see a cd player ? is there a hidden cd player or is that there if you put one in?

There could be a 6 cd stacker in the boot(trunk) if not it was either removed by a previous owner or it never had it installed, the button selects the stacker if it has one!

Cd player in ford expedition quit showing CD

If you can not eject cartridge
Press and HOLD eject button insert credit card or similar under cartridge.Push firmly in and move left to right untill it ejects, this will locate micro switch.
The fuse is located on the back of the stacker, this is ok because your head unit recognizes stacker.
