Change the fuel filter. If that's not it, it could be the fuel pump.

sounds like the fuel pump but i could be wrong iam not always right ,so look elsewhere as well say a crank sensor but fuel pump first

If so they failed to understand why you
were there & diagnose the issue

Was the fuel pump checked,pressure,etc.

Need to know what your loosing when it shuts off

Was it even road tested & were you present during
the road test,before & after any work was performed
& any money exhanged hands?

Sorry no matter how many times i read this question iam still at a loss ,at the the end of the day iam only a dumb cockney mechanic and reading this question yet again it reads like a sort shakesphere or dali poem and iam just not clever enough to understand this sort of highbow writing material

Iam just driving down the road and it goes dead i can restart it wright away and drive fine i never know when or how many times it will happen in a day

Sounds like a fuel pump type of problem. One way to test is to put a fuel pressure gauge on, route it inside where you can see it, and watch pressure next time the unit dies.

If there is a service engine soon light on, then there are codes that need to be read off of the computer. One can get an obd-ii scanner for under $100 at Sears or walmart or get Advance Auto Parts or Autozone to scan for free.

On the second question, check that the heater core is getting hot on both tubes at the firewall (heater hoses 1").
If not, then the system needs flushed or the heater core will have to be replaced.
If they are getting hot, then there is a blend door problem.

My car has trouble starting sometimes and u have to give it gas. it will die while iam driving it even on the highway.

sounds like it is starving for fuel. if it bogs down on the highway, then it may be the fuel filter clogging up. or the fuel pump. check fuel filter first! have a good day!!

My lincoln 2001 cuts off while iam driving any

"Cuts off while driving" narrows it down to about 20 causes. Take it to a mechanic.

P0505 means the whole Idle Control system, not only the IAM. Check all related sensors (i.e. crankshaft sensor). Check with a voltmeter direct at the connector of the IAM if you get any signal. Remove the IAM from the TB, connect him, let someone switch your ignition key to ON. The IAM need to drive in/out for a short time to find the right position. Hold the IAM near a hard part, that they cant drive out completely! If IAM works fine, check the fuel pressure, check and clean your TB ( if not done yet). If that doesn't work, come back again please
