Question about 1997 Volkswagen Jetta
When I reverse, it sounds horrible, like something is going to fall out...
If I'm reversing for too long, it slips out of gear and stops moving.
I've read a few things about this but am not sure what the issue is.
The other gears are fine though.
I should mention that I just started driving a manual. I've had the car for a week but only really been driving for the last 4 days. I'm probably doing something wrong with how I'm reversing. I don't think I have the method down right. Any suggestions? Especially about clutch to gas methods.
VW TRANS FOR YOUR MODEL ARE KNOWN TO HAVE WEAK REVERSE GEARS IF ITS CLICKING YOU PROB HAVE A BROKE OR CHIPED GEAR TOOTH IF ITS SOUND REAL WINEY ITS OK,JUST TAKE YOUR TIME IN REVERSE AND YOU RELLY DONT USE IT MUCH ANYWAY.IF ALL GEARS WORK FINE AND ONLY REAVERS IF GIVEING PROBLEMS I DONT RECOMEND HAVE IT FIXED
