Is this a problem w/ the interior vents? maybe stuck venting in outside air rather than from the heater box? did the heat only stop working after the radiator/hose install? if so, then you probably have a big air pocket stuck in the heater core.

Can I put a 1998 dodge ram 1500 4.7L V8 engine in a 2002 dodge ram 1500?

Yes it will fit but why, it is a very poor engine choice as they are fraught with mechanical problems. the 5.2L is a better choice.

2002 dodge ram no heat

Do you live in an extremely cold region? If so, those folks usually have a problem with heater in winter time. With a fully warmed up engine, how hot does it get in degrees F? Are the heater hoses hot?

How do I drain the radiator of a 2005 Hemi engine 2500 pickup? I found the drain plug in the radiator. It is activated by a allen wrench. However it just spins, nothing drains out.

on the large hose on the bottom of the radiator, remove the clamp, take off the hose, they come off hard try it with a channel lock , or get a small screwdriver inbetween the hose and radiator, if you cant get it , cut it with a sharp knife real close to the radiator, if it is a factory clamp get a new hose clamp

drain radiator take upper and lower hoses of the radiator then disconect transmission cooler lines from passenger side of radiator you may need a disconect tool then remove 4 bolts that hold shroud and radiator.
disconect overflow tube pull shroud back so you can lift out radiator dont loose two rubber bushings on the botom.when you put in new radiator be careful not to beat it up with the shroud then reconect everything good luck

2002 dodge 1500 Changed radiator, thermostat, and hoses. No heat

Why was radiator replaced?Did it have heat before ? If it was plugged, the heater core may also be plugged. Try flushing it with a water hose in both directions. I dont know why the botton radiator hose would be cold, the radiator should be a uniform temp and the air coming through the radiator should be HOT, when the engine is at operating temp. What condition was the old coolant? if it was rusty, the water pump may have lower flow than normal.

No heat

You probably just need to backflush your heater core. You can use a hose to flush it back and then forward. You'll be surprised at how much sludge and gunk will come out.
