If you hear a click while turning the key this would indicate low charge in battery any reading under 12 on a tester would have trouble starting other than that loose battery leads have you tried jumping if it starts with a jump this would indicate battery.
In my case the left front turn indicator lamp worked, but not the left rear indicator, although all the lamps would turn on with running lights activated, as well as the backup light and 'night-light' mode. The left rear turn indicator would not work with the hazard lights activated. I tested the combination switch (this is the left/right turn indicator switch you use when driving to indicate which direction you are going and is mounted/located on the steering column) and it tested O.K.. I had good continuity from the combination switch black wire, and resistance on the blue-white wire from there to the left rear turn indicator lamp, as well as good continuity on all wires going out from the left parking light fuse. Since the Haynes manual indicated that the flasher module was probably good if it made the tell-tale clicking sound, I was feeling perplexed. So I took it into a local shop that specialized in auto electrics and it turned out to be the flasher module. I was under the impression that it operated in a straight-forward left-right manner, but apparently it has a different circuit for each turn indicator lamp. So even if it is making the appropriate clicking sound when the combo switch is flipped, it could still be the flasher module. Obviously the manual leaves a bit to be desired in the troubleshooting of malfunctioning turn indicators.
hi...
there is a relay which connects turn indicator and the emergency flashers which is provided for the timing of the flash.this timer relay may got burnt or damaged. even though the fuses are OK the turn indicators wont work. please check this.
please rate me weather the information which i provided was usefukll to you by clicking on the thumbs present on the end of your page.thank you
If you are getting a clicking sound, then the starter is not getting enough power. There are three major things that must work in order for a starter to work. A good power source with good connections, a good starter solenoid (puts direct battery power to the starter motor when you turn the ignition to start), and a good starter motor. Usually a clicking sound indicates a fault in the first two items mentioned. If it were a blown fuse, you would get absolutely nothing when you turned the ignition key.
Check/replace the flasher control unit.
This unit is usually located under the dashboard. (It's the unit that normally sounds the audible 'click- click ' when the indicators flash).
hi, if all the fuses are ok and you have no indicator lights at all then the problem is going to be the indicator relay this is either located in the fuse box or under the dashboard it is what you hear clicking when the indicators are working ok now they put them in different places on all cars some makes its in the fuse others it under neath the dashboard usually behind the cowling covering steering coloumn if you purchase one first you will then know what you are looking for they just push in and pull out so are easy to replace. If you ask them at the place you buy it from they should be able to give you a good idea where this is located. It looks like a square box about the size of a match box they are different colors once you have replaced this you should have all the lights working. Hope this is some help tp you let me know if you need further assistance ok
