Question about 2001 Ford Expedition
Couldn't start the engine last night It was towed and started with no problem this AM It is not the battery and the mechanic can't find what was wrong with it Also happened four months ago
Couldn't start .... explain symptoms:
Did starter crank?
was engine warm? cold?
The only symptom you describe is that it started when the engine was cold.
Disconnect the battery cables and clean the cable clamps and the battery posts. Car can't start when warm with dirty battery connections (resistance too high). Low resistance when cold.
