Both sound like bad advice.
To reset:
Go to AutoZone and get a scan of the fault code and a print-out (all free services). Then have them reset the unit (after you get the fault codes).
Let us know awhat the fault codes are and whet the print-out says (summary).

    Here is the Nissan explanation:

No mention of computer reset or compressor...

The first item "Air Fuel ratio sensor" is the cause, in my opinion.

The computer can not be updated (reset) at home. what they are talking about is an update of the computers firmware like that of a cell phone. This can only be done at a dealer and should be done for free. I would say it is definatley NOT an air compressor

OK "technicians" and I use the term lightly ere have to top giving wrong advice, removing a battery cable will do nothing for us here. Even if it were possible to reset codes using this process of removing the battery cable it would be the equivilent of putting a band-aid on a gun shot wound, not much. The code your getting is for a mass air flow sensor very common problem on nissans, might need a software upgrade. or a new sesnso there expensive though about 300.00

Usually low on freon or a faulty pressure switch.
Could also be a problem with the ac clutch on the compressor.

It needs to go to the dealership, they have the computer to turn off those codes and can check to see if your cap is getting a good seal.

I need a new cover for the passenger side mirror 2009 nissan sentra...barely hit it and the cover shattered. Where can I get just the cover...really quickly?

You can call any Nissan dealership, they should have it but they will more than likely rape you with prices. Being that this is a new car, I'm going to say that this is most likely your only option. Be more careful next time.

2003 Nissan Sentra/standard transmission, ran fine until recently. Began jerking around randomly and would lose power out of nowhere. Stops doing this after restarting a few times. AutoZone said it needed...

try unplugging the mass air flow sensor. it's between the air filter and the engine throttle chamber. it has an electrical connector. if it idles fine, you need a new MAF sensor.
