2014 jetta SE fuse diagram, My husband was trying to find the fuse that was blown for the cigarette lighter and now the car will not start. He figures he installed in the wrong spot.

Unfortunately VW doesn't allow free access to its owner's manuals which contain the fuse box diagrams, you need to buy an owner's manual from the VW dealer or order one online

My cigarette lighters do not work to charge my cell phone? could this be a fuse problem? If so, which fuse is it?

Yes, could be cigarette lighter fuse blowed. Check fuse no.# 42 - F42 (20A) = cigarette lighter, 12 Volts. See picture below:

For 2006 VW Jetta the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.

My cigarette lighter inmy 1996 VW Jetta doesn't work. I'm trying to find the fuse

Many cig lighters have inline fuses. The fuse is part of the wire going from the lighter to the power source. It typically looks like a small white tube and can be opened by gently twisting and the pulling apart. Before you do that are you sure its' the fuse? The coil in lighters frequently burn out. Try a lighter from a similar car or plug in a cell phone charger to see if your getting power to the lighter housing. If you have power you can get a replacement lighter at most auto parts stores for a couple of bucks.

My 2002 VW Jetta cigarette lighter will not work. I have tried replacing the fuse, and nothing. How do I (myself) change the cigarette lighter? Thanks for your help!!!

You need a dc current test light to see if it is getting current, or plug in a cell phone charger to see if you are getting current. Our it could be the the lighter insert, a burnt out element and not the socket.
