I cannot get the CD player to eject the CD. the radio is a standard AM/FM radio with a CD player in a 2005 Ford explorer XLT. after pushing the eject button the radio screen blinks ''EJ err''. The cd plays normally as well as the control buttons all seem to work normally.

Turn the radio off first and then disconnect the battery for 2 min then reconnect the battery. This should reset your radio and then you can eject your CD, and reset your stations and clock. Good luck

I have a ford focus 2005. The standard radio stopped working and the single cd would play but would not eject. I checked the fuses by removing them and now nothing works,. I have the correct code which I have used before but now it will not accept the code - in fact when the buttons are pressed no numbers appear

Check the owners manual for details on this condition. There is a hole or button for emergency ejections.

2005 MALIBU WON'T EJECT CD

Your best bet is to take the Cd player to a car audio store. Refrain from trying to stick anything else inside the CD slot because this can have long term effects while your eject problem may be something simple and temporary but can't be solved without being there. I might also suggest getting aftermarket stereos..they simply tend to have less problems I find!!!

dont think im silly but this works every time unless the paper came off the cd (use a hair dryer and blow in the opening to warm up the eject wheels) then just push the eject button .
