The only thought that comes to mind is to re-check your spark plug gap, the reason is that if the gap is slightly larger, plug efficiency will drop, thus fuel economy and power, please confirm that some platinum plugs the gap is not adjustable, (.044 thousands) good luck!

I have 2000 Oldsmobie Bravada that spits and sputters every time I hit the gas. I've had an induction, transmission flush, tune up (all new wires and spark plugs), new EGR valve, new throttle position...

I went through this problem, and did everything you did, even the SeaFoam. Turns out, the new distributor caps I bought were defective. I switched it out to another brand, worked for a day and then sputtered again. I read somewhere that (FOR THIS VEHICLE) aftermarket caps and rotors aren't manufactured correctly, causing arcing. Switched the cap and rotor to AC Delco brand, and all ran good, going on 1 year now with no problems.

Just did tune-up on 2000 altima changed plugs wires distributor cap and rotor air filter changed oil and filter car started like a top drove 10 miles shut car off now won't start.

Really need more info here. Does the engine turn over? If so check all your connections again. Also check plug and coil wires and distributor cap. If engine won't turn over it's probably the battery.

Not getting any fire from distributor to plugs

check that you're getting spark from the coil to the distributor. Could be a bad coil or bad wire.

2000 blazer will not start did a manifold gasket job, replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap,new fuel filter. Cranked and ran really good for 2 days then will not crank

Check you starter, maybe you have a loose connection. Try to give direct power to the starter and see what's happening. I nothing happens, you have a bad starter.

2000 Honda Civic Dx will not start, gas pump is ok, but not gatting spark to spark plugs, suspect the igniter or the coil can you help

check your distributor. Its pretty common that they get burnt inside. pull the cap and look for burn marks or white marks. If so replace it.Its fairly cheap and not to difficult.
