Your temperature sensor is bad. Cheap and easy to install.

My ABS and Brake light goes on alot. Also sometimes my gages will go up and down for no reason. That is what they call the GM shuffel. It happens to alot of GM vehicles.
I never had a problem with loosing power or the tranny stuck in second gear. Sounds electrical, if no one can help here, get that thing to a garage before your hurt.

Oil pressure gage drops down to zero when i go to stop

Might be a bad Oil pressure sensor or a weak oil pump and when the car idles the pump even if it spins but the power is low but after you push the Gas then the RPMS goes up and the pump spins fast the pressure gets higher. Good luck

Temp gauge go real high as soon as I start driving than gos back down is that over heating

have your water thermostat checked for the correct heat range, its normal for a temp gage to raise then drop as the thermostat opens and closes ,, thats its job,, if you have replaced it before, it could be a higher rating than before

Temp gage reds hot for a second and returns to

I would check the wiring to the temp sensor. Make sure that it's connected properly. If so, and it's still giving you that problem, I would replace the sensor. (That's of course assuming you can't live with it's eccentricity/quirk.)

I have replaced my climotronic in my mk 4 golf works fine no back light or tempriture

is this automatic, or manual controls ?? if manual, set the fan speed to #2 position, pull the knob straight off. It may give you a hard time, and you may need to use both hands... no kidding. you will see the little bulb in the middle there, or if you bought a new unit maybe there isn't one installed at all...

Over heating

The radiator needs to have a rot out or get replaced. Over time the water deposits build up inside radiator and affect heat transfer.Keep your thermostst in. If you remove it your gas miledge will drop because the coolant temp sensor will tell the computer that the truck is not warmed up yet and the computer will tell the fuel injectors to ad more fuel. also in winter your heater will take a long time to heat up.
