Problem with Mazda 2002 MPV
My MPV low beam are not working. I have switched up the bulbs and the low beam still do not work. I can turn on the high beam fine. What could be the problem? I do not have a owner's manual
to research the problem.

I had to get a tune up on the van so I took it to my local mechanic. He saw that the wiring to the headlight was chewed on and a short happened and melted the cap that connects to the headlight bulb. Luckily he repaired the problem for just the cost of parts. It was funny to hear the mechanic complain on how tightly packed everything is in the vans engines compartment. Changing the bulb and wiring on battery side brought out some colorful remarks from him.

check the switch lever on the steering wheel. switch on and off for so many times. check headlight fuses and relays.
