Look around under the hood for a broken or dislodged vacuum hose. The door that directs the air flow is controlled by vacuum and after 10 years those hoses get brittle.

Heater not working on 2010 f-150

If both heater hoses are hot, and the radiator is full of coolant, it may be a blend door problem under the dash.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and out thru the vents.
It may still be under Ford warranty.

Sounds like a vacuum supply issue to the HVAC system. Check the vacuum hose that supplies the system from the engine to the firewall...I have found these to be cracked, split, pinched off, broken or plugged more than once.

I have a 2006 Ford Expedition. The Air

you have a vacuum loss to the ac control head, the motors that divert air are vacuum operated, if you loose vacuum the system goes to defrost for safety reasons, the vacuum comes from the engine, then goes o a plastic vacuum tank under the hook start there, it is a 3/16 id hose.
