ok ,look for the marks on the crank shaft gear and the mark on the body, aline both marks and turn it twice ,than you will fine both marks on cam and crank, its very easy, just look for marks and aline them by turning engine.

If timing belt on 1995 Honda Accord LX breaks, permanent damage to engine?

The 1995 Accord LX with the 2.2L and 2.7L, are interference engines. There will most likely be damage if the timing belt snaps.

I have 1995 Honda accord LX 4 door, it has 135,000 miles. Recently when driving, it is stopping all of a sudden without any warning on the road. It is very scary when car looses it power and stops...

If you haven't had the timing belt done, there is a good chance that the timing belt broke. It is due to be replaced every 90,000 miles along with the water pump. You have an interference engine which means that if the timing belt fails, the valves will hit pistons likely cause damage to the engine. Best case, you get away with having the timing belt replaced. Worst case, you will need an engine.

Timing belt

Well basicaly there is no adjustment it has timing marks and the belt goes on with the marks on the points.cam pulley has a stamped mark up with line marks that go evenly one on each side has to be even with top of the head.crank pulley the woodruff key goes straight up facing the cam pulley. The balance pulley has a v mark on the pulley and a mark on the block and those go together, dont worry about the water pump there is not timing mark on that.Good Luck
