2006 Jeep Wrangler electrical problem and wont start

My Jeep cuts off when at idle. It will not start. I can jumpstart it fine, but if I let it get to an idling RPM, it will shut back off. Also, when my door is open, the needles on my instrument panel jump around and the interior lights and radio blink on and off. When door is shut, I can put key in and radio works fine. Just when the door is open does it go on blink. I cleaned the terminals on battery and its still doing it. Any suggestions??

check the other ends of the battery wires to make sure they are clean and secure and make sure body ground is good at firewall and fenders.

Will start when cold . then down the road dies, all electric cuts off and wont restart will after a wild

This really sounds like a "cold" connection. Start by taking battery voltage readings at the battery and then at various places along the circuit. Look for voltage drops across connections.
Sounds to me like an issue that may be difficult to produce in the shop, hence your continued issue.
You will need to know exactly what works and what does not, during this condition, to help narrow down the problem area.

1989 wrangler 4.2 litre engine wont idle

my 1989 jeep wrangler would not idle and come to find out it was a little filter cloth inside the fuel tank that was on the end of the pickup tube going to the fuel filter. It was clogged up and when the engine was started it would just suck in and cut off fuel flow. My mechanic removed the filter cloth from the tube and the jeep runs great. It really does not need to be there because the fuel line has a filter on it. I hope this helps , I know for me it was very frustrating trying to figure this problem out.

Had to jumpstart 99 jeep wrangler, now it idiles very high.

sometimes , when a battery goe's down, and you replace them, or jump start them, the computer has to reset itself and it will take a few minutes to do this, but afterwards, it should be fine, if you still have the problem, check for trouble codes.

1994 wrangler will not shift into gear when stopped but works just fine when moving.

No. The jeep moves when starting the engine as if the clutch isn't fully engaged, but only then. Sitting idle with the clutch depressed it is fine.

2006 Jeep Wrangler cigarette lighter not working

Check for un-isulated connection on the hot wire lead. It might have been after-market but on mine the connection would short out, blowing a fuse. 1 inch of heat shrink tube fixed the problem.

1991 jeep wrangler trouble starting and stalling

It could be a fuel filter clogged up or it could be a fuel pump going bad. Does the jeep start back up after it stalls? Is there any more symptoms?
