I do not know exactly how your car is setup, but usually there are only two ways to access the rear bulbs. One is inside from the trunk, there may be a small access port in the trunk liner behind the bulbs, you remove this access port and reach in to get at the bulb. The other, more difficult, open the trunk, look for a couple of screws near the tailights that look like they hold in the edge of the light housing and are hidden when you close the trunk. Remove those screws (maybe Torx style), and the you can pull out the tail light assembly from the body and change the bulbs from there.
This is just a very brief description.

My engine light came on. I have a 2000 2.5 liter 6cyl automatic Mercury cougar. We put a code reader on it and the printout has these codes PO708 Transmission Range Sensor Circuit High Input P1702...


If it has to do with the transmission then yes it prolly will be very costly. My best advise to you is to get an est. from a shop an see if its worth the price

My 1997 mercury cougar is running on the VERY high side of hot


check to see that the electric fans are turning on when they are supposed to, and make sure the coolant is full and that the rad cap is good. Bad radiator caps are one of the most common overheating causes
