Question about 2003 Buick Regal
I have had the same problem (the slipping) since around 60k miles. My mechanic said to drive it till it drops. Now Im up to 120k miles and I think the transmission finally quit on me.
Driving in stop n go traffic this AM I noticed a lack of acceleration from stops. It got worse and worse to the point that I could barely pull into my parking spot from a stop.
Im headed out to check fluid levels but I think my tranny finally died on me.
Fantastic car up to this point... not sure if I will pay 3k to fix or scrap and start all over.
Always consider doing a fluid change and filter change - your description of your problem can often be solved with that. (Of course, low fluid can also cause a problem.)
