Pin 86 and pin 30 at the relay should have power then your right about ground supplied from the ecu and the other goes to the starter solenoid check for battery voltage on those 2 pins 86 and 30 one fuse is under the hood and the other is under the dash.

No power to coil with ignition on. Power at pin 30 all the time and pin 86 with ign on. negative at pin 87. 12v at pin 85.turn key on power at coil for 2 sec. Power at cavity 3 at comp. Fuel pump ok. Code...

Mike, I don't know what you are working on, Chrysler? Chevy? Chrysler and Jeep have an Automatic Shutdown Relay for power to the coil. But the only thing I know that gets a 2 second signal with key in on, is the fuel pump relay. The pcm sends a 2 second signal to pin 85 or 86 of the FP relay with key on to prime the fuel system. Do you need a wiring diagram?

2002 CHRYSLER CONCORDE, 2.7 HAS NO IGN ENG HAS BEEN REBUILT. TIMING DOUBLE CK, CRANK AND CAM SENSORS REPLACED. POWER TO COILS CKD OK. FUEL INJECTORS WORKING PROPERLY, BUT STILL NO IGN SPARK. HELP!!!!

Check that the wiring harness to the coils is getting 12v, this will confirm if the pcm is sending a signal for the sparks to fire. Check the ignition coil is sending spark to the plugs with a spark plug tester.

I have a 2001 voyager dvd player works but no sound. i also get a lot of white noise from any radio stations i listen to. any suggestions?

Hi Had the same problem with my 2001 Voyager. I decided to replace the factory double din size radio/cd with a Kenwood. The Kenwood poered up but no sound. There was one wire that did not connect from the original radio unit even though I had bought the correct wiring loom to connect the new unit. It turns out that this wire sends a signal to a relay in the fuse box under the bonnet to turn the amp on. This wire does not send 12volts but a signal of some kind. The cure was to take a live direct to the front rh relay and this then powers up the amp and everything works fine. Hope this helps.

Put the fuses back in,and unplug the fuel pump from the tank, and turn the key on,if it does not blow the fuse, then the pump is the problem.Rate this if it is helpful, thank you.

It sounds like your ignition key isn't returning all the way back from the start position to the run position because the return spring has gotten weak. The next time it happens try turning the key back to the run position.

Chrysler grand voyager problem

wel its either one of three problems, first check the ignition switch not the key the electric part of the switch on the steering column under the dash. its could be bad or have loose ground. second dodge minivans will also do this when the starter is bad, they get so bad that you turn the key to start and let up then it will crank and start after your hand is off the key. check for loose grounds around the engine also. and the loose grounds is the last. good luck these are the three most common problems for your model
