They can only go one way. did you have these problems before you replaced them or just after. you need to recheck your work, or take it to a shop that works on these on a regular basis.

1994 Toyota Camry,New water pump, new radiator, but car is over heating and missing,it smokes from the radiator when I stop....

Did you replace the thermostat? How long does it take to overheat? Is there water coming out of the tailpipe? Do you have to keep adding water to the radiator?

Sounds like a blown head gasket from the engine miss. Pull the spark plugs, if any of them are kind of a bleached white on the electrode then you've got water in that cylinder and either a blown head gasket, cracked head/block, or a combination of those.

Good Luck!

why if the engine did not overheat did you feel that the cyclinder heads needed replaced?.has the engine high milage?was it loosing water?.if i was you i would bring it back to the dealership that done the work and demand they put the problem right as i know you spent a lot of money on this job.[it could be dirty injectors].adrian,,,,,,

Need to change the engine coolant temp sensor, Where is it and what are the steps to changing it.

Heed of engine temperature!!! (Wait for engine cooling).
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is placed on back of cylinder head, towards clutch side. Disconnect the electrical cable plug and remove the fastening circlip. Remove the ECT sensor by pulling out from cylinder head. Extract also old "O-ring" sealing rubber. Install new ECT sensor with new "O-ring" sealing rubber.
