2003 x type noise in the dash when the car is off?

I just got 2003 x type And I drove it home I turned off the car and now there is a noise in the dash when the car is off?
It sounds like a small fan or a electric clock.
I read the post: blower still running after ignition turned off and key removed.
Buckmr2 says it is the humidity sensor. he says it runs for a while then turns off and restarts when you open the door?
Well I rolled down the window to test this theory. I listened for the noise, well it is not stopping.
It is ruining continuously I do not think this is normal?
Any one have any ideas on what this might be?

It is the aspirator fan motor. It samples the cabin air to help control the a/c & heater functions. It should cut off within 30 minutes BUT, if you open the door it starts again so roll the window down so you can hear without opening the door. Reach under dash, pull aspirator straight down, clean it and blow air thru the vent it attaches to, push it back into its hole and hopeully it will run quiter for you. Good Luck, ChocolateFreak.com

Right side power window on 2005 Toyota Matrix will not work. Went down fine, drove home and won't go up.

Is there any type of noise when pressing/pulling the UP button? If there is any type of electric motor noise, possibly the window regulator is faulty. Pull the door panel off to inspect the motor and regulator.

Ok, 2003 GMC Safari AWD 245,000 km. Drove 100km

sounds like an ignition switch glitch or ignition harness problem can be either depending on the amount of wear and tear with turning on and off of the ignition tumbler or possible chafing or inconsistent short in harness to ignition switch check the ground line up through harness first and check the wiring harness condition

1993 honda accord ex drove in rain belt squeeled

Sounds like maybe the ECU had taken in some water. Is your ECM located behind the engine on the firewall? There are two large fuses located on the passenger side wheel well in the engine bay. They are two large (2" plastic covers) over them.

2003 cts will not start - 101,000 miles

it sounds like your alternator let go, therefore your battery is not charging, you will need to investigate further but the rattling would be explained by the alternator mechanically breaking internally and failing to charge the battery resulting in your present situation
