Question about 2001 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab
2000 Frontier crew cab SE
my brake lights (rear) remain on even when truck is off. I read it might be the brake switch. If so, how do I know if it is defective; and where is it exactly located?
Thank you for any assistance.
Your brake switch should be above your brake pedal. For Nissan it will look like a silver cylinder about 3/8" wide. You can try adjusting it down so it better contact the brake pedal in it's up position. It is threaded with a locking nut. If adjustment doesn't work, go for replacement. Good luck and hope this helps.
