I believe that it is not governed, but if it really is you can take it to a tuning garage and get it removed.

Wont accelerate passed 50 miles per hour


if it still has a govener on it you may have to have it removed before it will accelorate or it could be a problem with the transmission hope this helps

what does a pressure govener solinod do?.basically it controles the speed of the fuel going to the engine,its commly used on goverment engines ie school buses ets it controles the flo of fuel going to the engine and therefore can be set to limet the speed of the car/lorry.adrian

govener gear is worn and has broken teeth on drivers side of tranny pop cover off its a circle shape on the side pull out govener order new 4 about 46 bucks and put new assembly in does not matter position
