I want to manual my nissan 300zx fairlady. what gearboxes would fit wirhout having to costom make a bell housing. thanks

How to remove 1400 Nissan gearbox out

1 Remove battery earth cable.
2 Remove gear shift lever - usually just pulls out.
3 Remove starter motor.
4 Remove bolts holding prop shaft to gearbox final drive, and remove the prop shaft.
5 Remove all bolts around bell housing holding bell housing to engine.
6 Slide gearbox back to slide spigot shaft from clutch plate.
7 Slide gearbox from under vehicle.
Gearbox is now removed out.

Hurth gearbox manual

Perkin engines were built to a standard bell housing configuration so that gear boxes of different makes would fit straight on. If you hurth gear box was made to these standards then the bell housing will bolt up to the engine. It was no 1 for most gear boxes or no2 for road ranger -splicer . Check with an engine rebuilder rand they will be able to tell you.

Replacing battery cables on 1990 300zx

I have a 1996 300ZX Fairlady Left hand drive. I tried replacing the battery. Now the head light flash and wont start. WHY? must I reset? and Where?

Where is the 'idle air control valve located' for a 1991 nissan 300z fairlady non turbo?

mcdevito75 here, The Nisson dealer will have it"s location, or ant parts store may have a manual showing it"s location.

My 300zx's engine power drops...

You may be having an over heating issue. If it has a rattle noise coming from the engine then it may be overheating. It may also be a timing issue. Check into both of these and see if you cant find the problem. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Cannot find the fuse panel on nissan 300zx

It's down in the driver's kick panel next to the dead pedal where you rest your left foot. The cover for the fuse panel faces the center of the car.
