Presuming that when you let up the gas pedal, the engine runs on before slowing? Check to see if you have a vacuum line off or cracked. Does the car diesel when you shut it off?

Have you checked out your air filter? Has your 02 GMC Envoy had a tuneup? Also you may need to replace your fuel filter as well. (especially if you drive in a dusty area) A vehicle as new as yours still needs preventive maintainence to keep the "new" parts working properly. While this won't stop the components from eventually breaking down and causing you headaches, its still a good idea to check these things.

2008 acadia coolant gets away slowley

Well someone has to figure out by looking at the car whether this is a slow leak to the outside or a much worse slow leak into the lubrication or combustion areas of the engine. Coolant is very bad for internal hard surfaces so get it done ASAP.
