Question about 2005 Chrysler Crossfire

Open Question

Car won't start

My car chrysler crossfire remote key not working I tripped off the alarm a couple of times as I opened the door with the key rather than unlocking it using the alarm button... I put in new batteries I can't get it to respond...actually neither of my keys are operating the car doors now. is there a reset operation after replacing the batteries?

Now I can't even turn on my car because the security system has taken over...it attempted to start a couple of times and shut down...and now it doesn't even try to use the starter :-(...
how will i make it start

any help is much appreciated!

If the passkey is messed up, there will be a light on the dash that says security, or have a picture of a car with a lock thru it. If there is no light when the key is turned forward, then its NOT a passkey problem.

make sure that the the remote's battery is still good otherwise it wont activate your vehicle but if it is equipped with an alarm ( your car), then possibly alarm stays on everytime you open your door with the key which has no chip in it. go get new battery for your remote.

Just a quick note once you hook the battery back up try locking it and unlocking it from the drivers door, if that fails you might try the passenger door. I know on some chrysler products you have to lock and lock again to arm and unlock to disarm. I hope this helps.
Thanks,

Man,I just bought a 96 chrysler lhs(salvage title) and we drove it home...Had no keypad. My girl and I got out and she left her purse...I opened the door and that car started honking and everything...Alarm wouldnt cut off so,What i did was go to the driver's door,Put the DRIVING KEY IN THE LOCK and locked and unlocked the door...Then,the alarm went off.Try that and if it doesnt work...Try to use those buttons.
