Sounds as if you may have a short did you check the bulbs? I would check the bulbs and make sure they are good. when you lift the rear hatch lid search around the wires and see if you have a exposed wire or perhaps a loose wire connection. Allot of times wires in a vehicle that year start getting frayed and worn from putting different items in the rear of the vehicle.
Check to see if you have inadvertantly hit the push switch on the rear dome lite. Click it once and try
your lites again..I had this happen on my 93 jeep and that was the problem.
The courtesy lights are controlled by the BCM/body control module, it can be tested for faults as well as active tests of the systems it controls, which is just about everything except the eng and trans.
