ABS light coming on stays on ABS wants to fight against the manual until the manual takes over but the lights stay on could that have anything to do service TPM light

didnt specify vehicle --generic answer--check fuses and relays -service pm is a tire pressure sensor system not your braking system ---for the abs have vehicle scanned for trouble code most auto stores offer this service for free ----check the abs sensor wiring and connections they are the wiring connection that runs behind the wheel they can get damaged by debris or age ---check hub/wheel bearing for wear if hub needs replacement abs is incorporated into hub so if hub failure abs can fail also

1993 4wd does not engage. Any particular area to look first. Auto hubs no noise. Light indicate 4wd is on. Any commen problems?

A bit hard not knowing the make or model but with L300 and alike with auto hubs they rely on the tailshaft spinning faster to engage the hubs similar to the operation of a limited slip diff, it only engages when needed. If you want to test it make sure you place all 4 wheels on stands or you will get hurt

Removal of auto locking hubs ????

I don't think auto locking hubs were available in 1992. I think they are direct drive planetary gears. Front drive is controlled by transfer case only. When gear selector is in 4WD or 2WD, the hubs are active either way. Contact Warn for your application. I had Warn on my 1986 Toyota SR5 and they worked good.

2001 sd f250 auto hubs not engaging

It sounds like the electric switch motor, or the relay that powers the motor. Remember 4wd high can be switched at any time below a certain speed(55mph?) but for 4wd Low you must be stopped with the transmission in neutral before it will engage. You might try tapping on either the relay or the motor while someone else works the switch...

Ford 250 auto/lock hubs

I have the same hubs on my truck as what you have. I have been told it can be done you just have to know if you have a dana 50 or 60 front axle. The warn hubs i'm sure are a better quality hub but if your worried about the auto feature of your current hubs. That is vacuum accuated when you 4 wheel drive is engaged. And there fore vacuum engaged. Mine used to work great but after a lot of mudding sand got into seals and vacuum didn't work anymore so i treat them as free/lock hubs.

Ford auto locking hubs

you can convert auto to manual hubs warn hubs or milemarker makes good hubs. As far as lift a suspension lift is better. This really depends on what you want to do with truck. I had a 97 f250 diesel 4x4 and put front leving springs on it and new poly spring bushings and was able to clear 35" tires on factory wheels. The best exhaust upgrade is going to be a new down pipe from turbo to exhaust as far as straight pipe or muffler it depends on personal preference
