Question about 1995 Honda Civic
I HAVE A 1996 HONDA CIVIC, I RECENTLY REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR WITH A REBUILT ONE, IT HAS A MONTH OLD BATTERY THAT WAS REPLACED BEFORE IT WENT BAD BECAUSE OF THE BAD ALTERNATOR, AND NOW ITS STARTING TO CAUSE PROBLEMS, JUST LAST NIGHT, IT STRUGGLED TO TURN ON LIKE IF THE BATTERY WAS DEAD JUST LIKE BEFORE THE NEW PARTS, AND WHEN I WAS DRIVING THE RADIO TURNED OFF BY ITSELF AND WHEN I TRIED TURNING IT ON, THE RADIO WOULDNT TURN ON, IT TURNED ON BY ITSELF MINUTES LATER, DONT KNOW WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM, THIS CAR WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN THE BEGINING OF THE YEAR, YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE BAD WIRES FROM THE ACCIDENT OR WHAT CAN IT BE?? REALLY NEED HELP!
ZSounds like you have a bad ground situation. There is a grd to the engine from the bat and one from engine to the body at the rear of the engine. chk them both for clean tight connections. Good luck. Your baterry should charge between 13.6 -14.2 range.
