Question about 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier
I bought mine in 2006 the problem did not begin until 2007. First to peg out was the Temp gauge, the Gas, RPM, and Speedometer; is this a common issue? I live in Sacramento, and it can get up to the triple digit degrees in the summers. It is really just a heat issue? I had a mechanic tell me there is bulletin out regarding this specific issue regarding 2003-2005 Chevy Cavaliers- can anyone substantiate this- and does that mean the dealer will fix the issue for free?
A bulletin is only to help a mechanic with a known problem a safty campaign would be a free fix,But if you could confirm this bulletin applies to your problem and ypu would call GM customer assitance(phone # in your owners manual) I am sure they would help you defer the cost.
