Where under the wiper passenger side is the filter in or out side 99 lincoln town car

99 Town Car has no cabin filter. Don't believe they ever did. My guess you have mildew on the AC evaporator. They make a spray to run through it to help in the AC section of your parts store. If not make sure there is no leaves ect under the cowl cover on the passenger side.

My Taurus has been sitting idle for awhile and I am unable to get it started. We tried either and it starts momentarily and then dies. Is there some way to get the gas through the fuel pump? I'm thinking...

try changeing filter first cost about ten bucks and take about ten minutes if its been along time the gas has probally gas bad, remove feul cap and smell if it smells like foul turpintine youll have to drain it,replace the pump and will have to drop the tank to replace the pump, you would be smart to clean out tank.

On my 1992 lincoln town car i forgot to put my radiator cap back on and drove for 40 miles then i smell something i pulled over to put water in the radiator and it all came back out what could have went...

The engine must be running to add coolant to a hot engine. When your water hit the head/block it vaporized and blew back. The engine is probably OK even though it probably lost some coolant and got hot.

My 99 town car gets very wet on the passengers side floor

the drain for the ac system is clogged, open the hood ond on the passengers side on the lower side of the firewall there is a small tube that drains, try leaning it out with a pipe cleaner or screwdriver.

1999 town car just bought it.When I turn the a/c on it gives off a foul smell I am a senior and would like some help to resolve this problem.Thank you Pops

sounds like the evaporator drain is clogged and building up a puddle of water which turns musty and stinks. Ideally I would first ensure the drain is clear. It is under the car, so a tech will be needed. To help eliminate the odor,, prior to turning on the A/C , I would spray a large dose of LYSOL down the grille, outside in front of the windshield. This will help disinfect and kill the mildew and also mask the odor. Will probably need to be repeated a number of times till you are satisfied.
