Yes. it all started when my key would not come out of my ingtion. When that happen thats when the driver info screen went out, the heater control went out. as well as the passager side windows does not go up nor down..

did they happen at the same time??? that is a good observation, these two things do have something in common, the ground wire......the ground wire terminal is located at the right side of dash behind fuse box, black wire. turn the blower on a medium speed and wiggle around wires in that area and and you may hear the blower start up when you hit the wires. connection is most likely loose.

There are seperate resistors for the different speeds. No resistors means the fan runs on the highest speed. Sounds like the resitor pack is bad or there may be a wiring issue.

Because the driver info screen isn't working may mean a wiring problem. I have a similar problem in that my low oil level light comes on. I can get it to go off (after checking the oil level) by starting the car, shutting it off, then restarting it. I was told to replace the wiring harness after replacing the level switch didn't fix the problem.

I keep blowing the heater motor fuse motor tested good changed the resistor and the heater control unit but still blowing the fuse it doesnt blow if the resistor is unplugged any suggestions

Hi. If the brushes are worn or have worn in the past to the point where there is damage to the rotor commutator, that could blow fuses for you.

Are you saying the fuse doesn't blow when the heater is on "high" and the resistor disconnected?

2001 Dodge Durango 4.7L 4x4. A/C is on but no air

Check the resistor pack next to the air motor blower, after you check the fues's the resistor pack is most likely blown but to be sure turn it on to heat and try the blower motor if it still does not run remove the restior pack and look and see if they are burned out, it will look like a fues thats blown. Two 1/4 screws holds it on and has 4 or 5 wires in it. If you need more help please post here.

Car A/C only blows cold on drivers side

It sounds like your blower resister blew it operates all the speeds except high blower speed that is a direct feed no resistance

2000 grand prix fan speed

i have been having that same exact problem with my 2002 grand prix for over a year now, and when my ac is on the lower setting the it doesnt work plus the headlights and lights on my dash go out. On Max everything works. i changed the blower resistor(about $35), still doesnt work. i changed all relays and fuses related to the ac, still doesnt work. i changed out the actual ac control switch in the dash, still doesnt work. i have changed everything but the blower motor and have asked every mechanic and auto parts retailer i come across and no one knows the answer. The best answer i got is that it is probably a wiring problem like a short somewhere.

My air conditioner is not working on my 2002 BMW X-5. The air is cool it just won't blow out.

If there is air moving through the vents most likely the final stage transistor(blower resistor) has failed. It controls blower speed from a signal from the ihka (a/c control panel). the final stage receives the signal from the ihka of the drivers preference blower speed. the final stage pwm (pulse width modulates) the blower motor. which means it turns it off and on very quickly to speed up or slow down the blower motor speed. It isn't the easiest part to replace. Usually at a dealership i would expect to pay somewhere around $600 (including diagnosis)but don't hold me to it. bmw dealerships stand behind their repairs and usually include a warranty with the part of 2 years unlimited mileage.
