Maybe your key remote batteries need to be changed. Also have it scanned for DTC's which I believe you may have quite a few stored in memory, problems you weren't aware of.

When cold starts but start, peddle to floor, rev a minute then it idles but at times dies when accelerating from a stop. Raw gas smell present and puff of blue smoke when it starts.

have you checked the cylinder compressions as backfire and blue smoke can be a symptom of low compression , either rings or valve seats but would need a dropdown test to be sure

Bought a 98 mustang and it was running rough and idled very poorly sometimes felt like it was gonna stall It lost power under stress and then started to lose it more frequently felt like it bogged down...

It sounds like you may have clogged cats or pre-cats. Is this a V6? The pre-cats can get super hot and basically melt the catalyst material. This isn't a permanent fix, but jack the car up and pound on exhaust pipes before and after the cat converters to possibly shake out some of the clogging. You may also want to put in a fresh set of spark plugs.

Use a bottle of yellow HEET dry gas to remove any moisture problem in the fuel.

Clean / replace air filter.

Top off ATF to MAX level.

Use starting fluid to aid starting.

Car dies slowly while driving

I would suggest checking the fuel pressure when the engine dies. You may have to buy a fuel pressure gauge and carry it with you, or see if letting the car idle for 30 min will duplicate the problem. Could be a fuel pump or relay.

Turns over but wont start

first check fuel, then check to see if it is fireing at the spark plug. if it is fireing at plug, check to make sure it is getting fuel. ( should be able to smell fuel on the electrode end of spark pug). If it is getting fuel, and spark, you may try removeing all spark plugs, then shoot some oil into each spark plug hole. Replace plugs, and try to start. If it still wont try to start, may be out of time. Does it pop, backfire when you are cranking the engine?

1993 Chevy Silverado PU 1500, backfire, sputter, die

they might have not put the proper gap on the plugs..and might have over filled the engine with too much oil..

you are getting far too much fuel or not enough air.check the airfilter first and the 02 sensor.a code scan will tell you which area is failing.
