Abs light stays on

ABS light means a failure in the ABS system, brake pads not the issue.

Most likely need to take it to a shop to run the code for the brakes.

Its not your brake pads. It is your ABS system. Only dealers are certified to work on the ABS systems. I would check all of your fuses prior to sending it to the dealership. You probaby have a bad sensor. Have you drove through water over your bumpers? IF so, then just take it to the dealer because you have shorted a sensor.
