Is the switch on in the trunk? are the fuses good? do you hear the pump in the front running, trying to lift the car up? let us know everything that you have checked, and the results.

the fuse for the pump is one of the large ones in the fuse box under the hood. if its blown, most likely the compressor is bad. If the compressor is bad, its most likely beacause the air bags leak, and the compressor ran so much that it siezed/worn out.there are companies that sell a kit to replace the air bags with springs one is

I have a 96 lincoln mark 8 my air ride wont come up but i was wondering if i could pump it up some how some way

Depends on what the problem is. If you have a leak in the system and the pump is running, I would say no.
If the pump is not running, you may have a shrader fitting like a tire valve on the side of the pump which you could apply air pressure to.
You could have a ride height sensor failure which could prevent you from keeping air in the system.

Where is the compressor for the air ride suspension on a 2000 lincoln town car? And is there a fuse for it?

It is located under the air cleaner box. the fuse is located with the relay in the fuse box under the hood, it is not marked but there should be info in the owners manual.

if your motor is working but the car doesn't raise it means you have a leak in the air ride system you'll need to replace both (front or back).

Any knowlegable mechanic knows about these air rides and if the car had to be on a lift and they didnt turn the air ride off will blow the air bags---In the trunk look to the right side and theres a switch to turn the air ride off/on.make sure its on.

92 lincoln towncar air bag light flashing

Air suspension is controlled by the compressor in your engine compartment.  The compressor runs when the suspension is not level.  Either because you have loaded the car with exceptional weight and the system is now adjusting the ride, or you have a leak in the system, or you have a bad sensor.
If you have a leak, the most likely culprit are the air suspension bags, the air suspension solenoids or possibly the lines to them.
Try these sites:

I don't work for either of them.  I own a 96 TC and have replaced my air suspension with coil springs form Strutmasters.  Work GREAT and I have no more air suspension problems.  Rides just as good too.  You can't tell the difference.

1996 Lincoln the air compresser wont turn on, the low side is a tad high and the high prs side is low.. blowing out warm air

Get From E-bay Ford 96 OEM Shop Service Manual, also EVTM manual [electrical/vacuum]
Locate Rotunda Part# in the manual For the Super Star 2 Tester; ie 007-00014-B
This will help you communicate/diagnose/troubleshoot/repair Air Ride Suspension,
There could be aprox 35 things causing your problem w/Lincolns, like if you have a door open fault,
air compress will not come on, not sensing car is going over 15mph, fuse, ground wire, height sensor[s][expensive], aprox $320.00 each, air ride ECM [$127.00].
Cheaper to get manual and Rotunda Tester off e-bay, 1st trip to dealer will pay for it.
I,am going through Air Ride Problem[s] right now on my 91 Linc, just purchased Rotunda
tool listed in my manual 007-00014-A $127.00, started off @ 12.50 last 10 sec's jumped up
Just waiting for tester to arrive.
