Question about 2000 Hyundai Sonata

1 Answer

I want to know which one is the right "valve" to change oil in the 2000 Hyundai Sonata Gls V6? There are two: a yellow stick and a red stick. I want to make sure we will be changing the correct oil and the right place. I am an older woman with no car knowledge at all. Thank you.

Where is the pcv valve located on a 2003 hyundai sonata

I have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.7L V6 , I'm having a problem locating the pcv valve. I was told it was on the valve cover near the fire wall. Is it located near the throttle body? i have to take off the intake to change the plugs so I'm sure I will find it then. Just thought I would ask someone that has pervious experience. Thanks for anyone's input.

You would have to proceed like you were going to change the belt until you could see it to inspect it. Here is a link to instructions on inspecting and replacing it.

Trying to replace serpintine belt but air conditioner pulley seems to sit lower than it does on diagram

I do not know what Diagram you are referring to. Also I am not sure if you have the Sonata with the 2.4L DOHC In-Line 4, or the Sonata GLS with the 2.5 SOHC V6.
In any case:
Click on the following Free-Direct Link. It has the Serpentine Belt Diagrams. Compare these with your Vehicle and/or Diagrams you have.
