Question about 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2WD
I have recently purchased a 2005 Chevy Silverado and none of the chimes/buzzers work. the truck does have a after market radio installed and I am unsure if this radio would negate the chimes/buzzers.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Seat belt and any warning chimes do not come from the radio, they usually come from a unit under the dash, what you are describing is probabl;y a blown fuse problem. I would checkfuses with a teat light as some fuses may not appear blown.

I would say relay. Have you tried a code reader? Auto Zone (auto parts) here in the states will do it for free. Also for a quick fix try rebooting your computer in your car. how ?1.)removing both battery terminals 2.) go in and turn the key (this will drain power in any circuits) 3.) turn key off 4.)then for around 30 seconds then reconnect battery.
