Question about 2004 Dodge Stratus

1 Answer

My wife and I have an 2004 Dodge Stratus and there is a leak somewhere on the driver's side that leaks in by the pedals. We had the windshield replace last summer, but it still leaks, any ideas?

It may be the air conditioner condensor. They do have tendency to build moisture and leak by the feet. A bad window or door seal will cause this but only if it had rained.

When it rains water pools up on the driver side floor. Why is that?

Water leaks are tough and could be coming from a number of places. It may be coming from around your door, around your windshield, around a sunroof if you have one, or around your cowl or ductwork for the ventilation system. I would get in the car and have a helper run water with a hose all over it while you watch for where the leak is coming in at and go from there.

2006 dodge stratus leaks into passenger side floor.have had the ac evap drain checked and it's not that. Does not appear to be from the windshield either. help

the easiest way to check for a leak is to take the car through an automated car wash, I am not arguing with you but a coworker has the same car and her drain line was clogged and her floor board was wet on the passenger side, it cost her $25 for a mechanic to clear the drain line. I hope this helps Tim

Water in the drivers floor, guessing from AC

possible, you might want to see if you have a leaking windshield, most dodges have a condensation tube that flows the water out of the box, if u locate it make sure its not pluged. might be the case with yours. or you have water leaking from rain gutters or windshield.

good luck.
